Gilbarco Veeder-Root partners with NPCA

US-based gas station checkout solution Gilbarco Veeder-Root has partnered with National Payment Card Association (NPCA), to provide an automated clearing house (ACH) payment solution to the former’s payment technology suite.

Under the terms of the agreement, Gilbarco’s convenience store retailers will be able to upgrade their loyalty cards into debit cards tied directly to consumer checking accounts.

National Payment Card Association is a provider of ACH decoupled card and mobile payment systems. The Spinx, Flash Foods and The Cumberland Gulf Group are among the c-store operators that uses its services.

Gilbarco Veeder-Root is a provider of integrated technology solutions in the retail petroleum industry.

In recent news, Gilbarco Veeder-Root has entered an agreement with PayPal to implement the latter as a payment option at all their gas and convenience stores across the US.
