German savings banks count on long-term collaboration with GZS

Almost all of Germanys have extended their contracts with GZS Gesellschaft fÜr Zahlungssysteme mbH. Consequently, the savings banks approximately 2.6-million-strong MasterCard and Visa credit-card portfolio will continue to be processed by GZS for a further three years, or at least until 2006.GZS customer base includes Germanys four largest savings banks: Hamburger Sparkasse, Frankfurter Sparkasse, Stadtsparkasse and Kreissparkasse Köln. HSH Nordbank – which was formed from the recent merger of Hamburgische Landesbank and Landesbank Kiel – has also chosen GZS for its credit-card processing and, at the start of 2004, it, too, switched processors, engaging GZS with the handling of a former Landesbank Kiel credit-card portfolio. Flexible Solutions – Processing made by GZS As the leading service provider, GZS is guarantor for the professional processing of cashless and card-based payments, offering innovative solutions in the field of intelligent transaction processing. Around 2,200 banks, as well as retailers and industrial enterprises, entrust their processing to GZS.
