FrontStream Payments, AutoXplorer to deliver integrated payment services

Monday 26 March 2012 11:35 CET | News

FrontStream Payments, a US-based provider of payment services, has entered an agreement with AutoXplorer, a  provider of software and hardware systems to over 1,500 used car dealerships in 35 different states.

As part of the deal, AutoXplorer has implemented FrontStream’s payment acceptance services into its proprietary dealership management software. By adding FrontStream Payments’ gateway platform and payment processing technologies into the AutoXplorer capabilities, dealers will now gain access to compliant services for accepting credit and debit card payments. Other dealer management services include recurring billing and acceptance of payments by phone.

In addition, the integration of FrontStream’s proprietary gateway platform offers dealership users automated batch reporting and integrated financial tracking for one-stop accounting views. Running transactions via the new service will also ensure that cardholder data transferred between AutoXplorer and the consumer is PCI compliant as a result of an encryption and tokenization code built into FrontStream’s integration model.

AutoXplorer has also revealed plans to upgrade the dealership management system by adding eCheck (ACH) acceptance to their payment service. With eCheck capabilities, dealers can accept payments by processing a customer’s checking account information electronically.

FrontStream Payments delivers integrated payment products and services such as ACH eChecks, credit and debit cards to businesses and independent credit card sales organisations.
