Frank DAngelo of Metavante Corp. Elected Chairman of the Electronic Funds Transfer Association

The Electronic Funds Transfer Association, an inter-industry trade association dedicated to the advancement of electronic payment systems and commerce, has elected Frank DAngelo as its chairman.

DAngelo is currently a senior executive vice president of Metavante Corp. and group executive of its Payment Solutions Group. Angelo succeeds Dale Dentlinger, formerly of E*TRADE Financial, Inc. DAngelo will serve a two-year term as chairman. In addition to electing DAngelo, the EFTA Board of Directors also elected Scott Qualls, managing director of the Financial Services Practice at BB&T Corp., as vice chairman. Elected as treasurer was Sandra Hartfield, president and CEO of Palm Desert National Bank.
