Fiserv Products Support Real-Time Agency Access for First American Property & Casualty Insurance Com

The Specialty System and Tech21, a pair of software solutions from Fiserv, are providing expanded customer service options at First American Property & Casualty Insurance Company, a subsidiary of The First American Corporation.

First American recently implemented Tech21 Web-enabling technology to provide the companys agency force with self-service capabilities using the Specialty System via the Internet. The Specialty System automates administrative processing for property and casualty insurance writers, from policy acquisition to management and statistical reporting. First American Property & Casualty Insurance Company first implemented the Specialty System to support its need for a dependable platform and a flexible solution to handle anticipated growth. Subsequently, First American Property & Casualty Insurance Company contracted to implement the new Tech21 module of the Specialty System. Agents are now in production with Web-based services using Tech21. Following a successful pilot, First American Property & Casualty Insurance Company began the general rollout of self-service capabilities to its agency force. Court anticipates all users - whether policyholders or company personnel - eventually will have access to the same user interfaces and databases.
