FIS acquires VCMG

Global banking and payments technology provider FIS has acquired ValueCentric Marketing Group (VCMG), a software provider of loyalty and rewards services to the retail, transportation and other non-financial services industries.

With the new acquisition FIS aims to enhance its product portfolio for the loyalty and reward segments as well as expand its loyalty services into the healthcare, retail, petroleum, transportation and government markets.Terms of the agreement have not been disclosed yet.

In recent news, FIS has extended its partnership with US developer of fraud prevention software services NICE Actimize, a subsidiary of NICE Systems, to implement Actimize’s Employee Fraud application into its core processing systems.
