The aim of the project is to improve cost-efficiency and control in the Posts IT services. Under this outsourcing agreement TietoEnator Group will take on nine employees, on their existing terms of contract, from Finland Posts subsidiary IT Optimo on the date of signing. The servers, currently operated by several service providers, will be moved to TietoEnator immediately the project starts. Finland Post has also signed a three-year operations services purchase agreement with TietoEnator covering the services now to be provided by the Datacenter. This agreement takes effect on 5 October 2004.
