Departments participating in the program include the Countys Tax Administration, Parks and Recreation, Solid Waste, Animal Control and Finance. The enterprise-wide solution offers the County the ability to offer e-payment options to all citizens and businesses while providing unparalleled insight and control to enforce and manage policies, monitor costs and deploy e-payment capabilities in a cost effective manner. Govolutions VPS enables management of electronic payments across all departments and all collection mechanisms including point of sale, telephone, IVR and the Web. The enterprise solution reduces the manual administration of payments at the department level while streamlining integration of transaction data to department specific back-office systems. With enhanced and maximum granularity in reporting, VPS enables treasury departments to monitor collection activity across all departments. Agencies that will be going live this year include, Circuit Court Land Records Division, Department of PublicWorks and Environmental Services Land Development Services and Special Collections, Department of Community and Recreation Services Athletic Services Division, and the Department of Human Services Alcohol Safety Action Program.
