Euronet partners with Ikano Bank in Germany to introduce ATMs in IKEA Stores

Euronet Germany, a subsidiary of electronic financial provider Euronet Worldwide, has closed an agreement with Ikano Bank, part of the Swedish Ikano Group, to provide outsourcing services for the Ikano Bank ATMs located in IKEA Deutschland stores throughout the country.

Under the agreement, Euronet is set to provide outsourcing services in the established locations, as well as operate any additional ATMs deployed in new IKEA stores. The devices are equipped with 2D bar code reader, thermal receipt printer, contactless card reader for mobile wallet payments, cassettes for coupons to be dispensed with cash and the possibility to add a 42 inch digital advertising screen above the ATM.

Additionally, a closed looped store card is set to be accepted for cash withdrawals at Ikano Bank ATMs.
