Euronet acquires ATMs from Diebolds cash4you network

Global electronic payments provider and distributor Euronet Worldwide and its subsidiary in Poland Bankomat24/Euronet Sp. z o.o. have acquired 535 ATMs and over 350 retailer contracts from Diebold Poland Sp. z o.o., the ATM deployer and the owner of the cash4you network.

Following the strategic acquisition, Euronet owns and manages over 3,500 ATM devices in Poland expanding its relationships with many retail and bank brands.

In recent news, Euronet Worldwide and US software developer wipit announced the upcoming launch of a service designed to enable cash-preferring consumers to participate in mobile payments. Euronet’s current Independent ATM Deployer (IAD) networks span across 8 countries including: Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece and Croatia. Euronet’s total number of owned and operated ATMs throughout Europe will now exceed 8,000 devices.

Diebold provides integrated self-service delivery and security systems and services. The company employs more than 16,000 associates with representation in nearly 90 countries worldwide.
