Under the terms of the agreement, SIVA will integrate Ernexs loyalty and gift card functionality and Moneris USAs credit and debit interface into SIVAs point-of-sale application as well as certain external devices that SIVA has incorporated into a turnkey solution, including an Ingenico wireless terminal and a self-service guest kiosk. SIVA, Ernex and Moneris USA will then co-market this first of its kind turnkey solution to the restaurant industry, delivering an expanded feature set and the potential for significant cost savings all in one package. Moneris Solutions acquired Ernex in October 2003 in order to combine Ernexs loyalty marketing expertise with its world-class payment solutions and to provide outstanding value-added benefits to current and future Moneris Solutions merchants.
