Eric Jacobsen Joins Fidesic Board of Directors

Fidesic Corporation has appointed Eric T. Jacobsen, co-founder and managing partner of Dolphin II, LLC, to its board of directors.

Eric Jacobsen has headed Dolphin II, LLC., an advisory services, operating management and investment capital firm working with early stage, high growth companies, since co-founding the company in 2001. Prior to Dolphin II, LLC, he held a variety of senior operating positions in the software, Internet and financial services sectors. Most recently, Mr. Jacobsen was COO of Financial Fusion, Inc., an Internet financial services company. Earlier, he was founder, president and COO of Home Financial Network, Inc., an Internet financial services company that he co-founded in 1995 and sold to Sybase, Inc. in January 2000. Before Home Financial Network, Mr. Jacobsen was vice president, sales and marketing, for H&R Blocks Tax Software Division and vice president of marketing for MECA Software, Inc. During his tenure at MECA Software, Inc., he spearheaded MECAs initial public offering and helped engineer MECAs sale to H&R Block in 1994. Earlier, Mr. Jacobsen was an investment banker with Smith Barney. A noted expert speaker on online financial services, Mr. Jacobsen has presented at numerous industry events sponsored by BAI, CUES, Faulkner and Gray and American Banker. A past recipient of the Cook Scholarship, a merit based scholarship that provides full tuition to attend St. Pauls Preparatory School and the college of the students choice, Mr. Jacobsen now serves on the funds board of trustees. He also serves on the board of directors of St. Pauls School, as well as on the advisory board of several venture capital funds. Mr. Jacobsen joins other Fidesic directors Fidesic Corporation CEO Jon Matsuo, Voyager Capital Managing Director Tony Audino, Voyager Capital Principal Eric Benson and Northwest Venture Associates General Partner Mark Mecham.
