Electronic Payment Exchange, Sprint extend relationship

Electronic Payment Exchange (EPX), a global provider of credit card, debit card, and electronic check processing services and US provider of wireless and wireline communication services Sprint have extended their current payment processing relationship by signing a co-marketing deal.

The newly signed deal allows other Sprint business customers to benefit from EPX’s payment processing services and payment acceptance technology via the Nationwide Sprint Network.

EPX BuyerWall-based tokenization and encryption technology and payments platform are integrated with wireless payment units such as kiosks, parking meters, vending machines and other self-service devices which use the Sprint 3G network for transmitting transaction-based data.Via EPX, Sprint eliminates third parties in the payments chain and provides their customers and downstream consumers with protection from payment data breach and identity theft.

EPX provides a wide range of tokenization-based payment processing services for merchants, retailers, online retailers and banks in the US, Canada, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.
