EDS Renews Contract With National Credit Card Center (NCCC) of Taiwan

EDS has extended its 20-year business relationship with NCCC with a new five-year contract. Under the agreement, EDS will continue to provide technology support and applications development services to manage NCCCs credit card system.NCCCs EDS-designed credit card system is an end-to-end card processing solution that includes cardholders/merchant management, online authorization, settlement management, a front-end switching solution, and report processing. The system coupled with IT support from EDS has enabled NCCC to increase its ability to process credit card transactions by 35 percent. By extending its contract with EDS, NCCC will continue to offer a wide range of advanced integrated credit card services at cost-effective rates. The contract also enables NCCC to take advantage of new technologies and processes that increase efficiency and allow it to deliver new products and services to customers.
