EDS Combines North and South Asia Into One Region

EDS has restructured its Asia Pacific North and South regions into one consolidated region, to be led by Phil Pryke who has been appointed vice president Global Sales and Client Solutions -- Asia Pacific.

Pryke will report to Steve Schuckenbrock, EDS executive vice president for Global Sales and Client Solutions. Pryke has most recently served as the managing director of Nextgen Networks Pty Limited, and the managing director of Australian and New Zealand operations of Lucent Technologies Pty Ltd. He previously had a successful career as an investment banker and as an economist. He will continue to serve as the chairman of New Zealand-based Contact Energy and as the director of the Australasian Institute of Immunology & Allergy Research. Pryke will lead the combined Asia Pacific region for EDS. Jay Davis, formerly president of North Asia, will assist Pryke in the transition to his new role before he returns to the U.S. headquarters for his new assignment. Don Easter, formerly vice president of AP South, has left the company. Pryke, who holds a bachelor of economics degree from the University of Sydney, will be based in Sydney where he currently lives with his family.
