EDB IT Operations provides applications operating services for the Citys payroll and personnel systems. This contract is a renewal of the contract EDB currently operates for the City of Oslo that is due to expire on 31.07.2006. This contract builds on the technical environment transferred to EDB IT Operations when EDB Business Consulting was closed as a separate business area earlier this year. This area of speciality now forms part of EDBs focus on the operation and administration of business-critical applications for trade and industry and the public sector. EDB believes that there is considerable potential for growth in this type of service in the future.
