Tuesday 13 January 2004 16:08 CET | News

Direct Response Financial Services, through its subsidiary, Direct Card Services, has created and will offer two specialty debit card programs to the Hispanic community in the United States. The cards are called the La Vida Buena Card and the La Vida Buena Tarjeta.

DCS currently has two Internet web sites in development that will feature the cards benefits and affinity incentives. The web sites are located at www.lavidabuenacard.com and www.lavidabuenatarjeta.com. Each web site will interface with the Companys existing Internet financial platform located at www.globalmoneyonline.com. Recent U.S. Census figures show that approximately 35% of all residents in the State of California are of Hispanic origin. Similar percentages are found in the populations of most Western and Southwestern states. Further, a recent article in USA Today stated that Hispanics as a group were more likely to shop online for holiday gifts than any other group. DCS will initially offer the debit card programs in California and later in other Southwestern states.
