Diebold Names Wico van Genderen Vice President of Customer Business Solutions

Diebold, has promoted Wico van Genderen to vice president, customer business solutions. In his new role, van Genderen is responsible for leading Diebolds U.S. sales organization for the financial industry.

Van Genderen assumes the responsibilities of Dennis M. Moriarty, who recently was appointed vice president of the companys Global Security division. Van Genderen began his career with Diebold 14 years ago as a sales account executive in the mid-Atlantic area. He has held management posts in global marketing, product planning and development, re-engineering and regional sales management. Recently, he held senior management positions in the eastern area as director of marketing and vice president/director of Eastern area sales. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and business from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J., and a masters degree in business administration and management information systems from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pa. Prior to Diebold, van Genderen held various sales positions at IBM.
