She reports to Gregory T. Geswein, senior vice president and chief financial officer and succeeds Donald E. Eagon Jr., vice president, Investor Relations and Global Communications, who recently retired after 13 years of service with the company. Bailey joined Diebold in April 2003 as director of Internal Communications and previously served as director of Internal Communications at TRW Inc., located in Cleveland. She has held numerous managerial positions in the corporate communications profession with a variety of companies in northeast Ohio, including Continental-General Tire and Babcock & Wilcox. Bailey earned a bachelors degree in technical education from The University of Akron and resides in Copley, Ohio.
