Deutsche Bank launches new cash management structures in APAC

Wednesday 6 November 2013 09:16 CET | News

German financial services provider Deutsche Bank has announced the launch of its ‘Payments and Collections On-Behalf-Of’ programme for corporate clients in Asia Pacific as part of its Next Generation Treasury Solutions.

Payments-on-behalf-of (‘POBO’) and Collections-on-behalf-of (‘COBO’) are structures designed for corporate treasuries to deal with their cash management operations and liquidity. With these structures, corporates can operate transactions and their underlying cash flows through a streamlined bank account structure, enabling them to manage their liquidity.

In recent news, financial services company the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) and Deutsche Bank have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) extending their cash management relationship by leveraging the latter’s Asia Accelerator service to process ABC’s US dollar and Euro intra-Asia payments.
