Tuesday 9 December 2003 08:55 CET | News

Concord EFS has selected the Ingenico e(N)-Touch 3100 as an IP-based terminal solution. Retailers, restaurants and quick service restaurants (QSR) that need fast "real-time" transaction authorization will benefit from implementing the e(N)-Touch 3100 and Concords EFSnet IP-based transaction processing services. The e(N)-Touch 3100 IP-enabled payment terminal connects directly to the Internet via a broadband cable connection to authorize transactions in as fast as 2 seconds while leveraging industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) to ensure optimal transaction security. These features, including an integrated 33.6 kbps modem that supports dial backup, enable retailers using the e(N)-Touch 3100 to securely process credit, debit, EBT, gift card and Purchasing Level II card transactions via the Internet.
