ConCardis prematurely extends GZS contract until 2007

Friday 1 April 2005 11:39 CET | News

ConCardis GmbH is prematurely extending its acquiring processing agreement with GZS Gesellschaft fÜr Zahlungssysteme mbH until September 2007. It attributed the early extension to the successful launch of GZS’s new acquiring processing platform eMAXS in late 2003.

GZS has implemented a broad portfolio of new products in addition to eMAXS. It is, for example, the first German processor to have implemented the function Dynamic Currency Conversion on Concardis’ behalf. This enables contractual partners to offer their customers conversion and settlement of payments in their home currency. GZS is further planning to offer its customers acquiring processing for Maestro transactions using eMAXS by the end of the year. This enhancement will allow PIN-based debit- and credit-card transactions to be captured via the GICC authorisation protocol and be settled and paid out to merchants via eMAXS.
