Checkpoint Systems Names Three Regional Presidents

Checkpoint Systems, has named three executives to the newly created positions of Regional President. David Donnan, a new hire, has been named Checkpoints President of North America. In addition, John Davies has been promoted to President of Asia and South America, and Per Levin has been promoted to President of Europe. As President of North America, Mr. Donnan will have total responsibility for the companys operations in the United States and Canada. In addition, he will head up Checkpoints worldwide radio frequency identification operations, as well as marketing and communications. Mr. Donnan joins Checkpoint from the management consulting firm A.T. Kearney, where he was a Vice President. His seven-year tenure at A.T. Kearney included experience in the areas of consumer products, business and brand strategies, supply chain transformation, and technology applications. In Mr. Davies new role as President, Asia and South America, he has responsibility for Checkpoints operations in 8 countries. He will also head up operations for Check-Net, the online global platform for data integrity; acquisitions; and worldwide information technology. Mr. Davies was formerly an Executive Vice President at Checkpoint, responsible for sales and marketing in the U.S., International Americas and Operations. Per Levin, formerly Checkpoints Executive Vice President and General Manager, Europe, is now President of Europe, where Checkpoint operates in 18 countries. He also takes on responsibility, worldwide, for electronic article surveillance.
