Checkpoint Systems, has introduced the METO branded mi-4210 RFID, a 13.56 MHz (HF) and EPC-compliant 900 MHz (UHF) thermal RFID printer that supports both basic bar coding and advanced data capture as the printing world migrates towards the adoption of RFID technology applications.

The METO brand mi-4210 RFID printer allows the use of smart labels to combine both product-specific barcode information and radio frequency data in a single thermal label by incorporating a radio frequency circuit into the printed label. A full range of industries will take advantage of the latest features available in this next generation thermal barcode printer. The METO mi-4210 RFID printer comes in two versions; fully enabled to encode all available RFID protocols or, an upgradeable version offering barcode printing only with ability to add RFID encoding at a later date.
