Centerplate Form Alliance for Quest Point of Sale (POS) System

Centerplate and Quest Retail Technology have formed an alliance to promote the use of Quest software and other products at sports and entertainment venues served by Centerplate.

Centerplate, a leading provider of concessions, catering and facility management services, announced it is installing 240 Quest point-of-sale terminals and 50 wireless (RF) hand-held units at Yankee Stadium, 250 point- of-sale terminals and 26 RF hand held units at SBC Park in San Francisco, as well as a number of terminals at two minor league ballparks, the Lancaster Barnstormers and the Long Island Ducks. Centerplate first introduced the Quest point-of-sale system with the installation of about 500 Quest point-of- sale terminals at Invesco Field @ Mile High Stadium in 2001 and installed an additional 590 Quest point-of-sale terminals and 60 RF hand held units at FedExField in Washington, D.C. in 2004.
