Cashzone acquires OmniCash

UK ATM provider Cashzone has acquired the cash machine operator OmniCash.

Following the acquisition, Cashzone is set to extend its presence on the UK market. The acquisition has come into effect on 6 April 2011. Cashzone currently owns almost 6,000 machines across the UK.

Cashzone has been formed from a combination of three independent cash machine operators, namely Cardpoint, Moneybox and Travelex. Cashzone is the trading name of Cardpoint Services, a division of the branded consumer payments acceptance network Payzone Group. The company currently provides ATMs to UK retail and leisure brands, including McDonald’s, Road Chef, Moto and Booths.
