BT to Standardize its Global Service Management Platform on Amdocs

European telecommunications services provider BT has standardizing its global service management platform using Amdocs across all business units, further strengthening its relationships with more than 21 million business and residential customers.

BT will be using ClarifyCRM to further streamline and standardize its ordering, fulfillment and support processes. This standardization across all BT businesses will reduce costs and accelerate time-to-market for new-wave services. BT Wholesale, BTs wholesale communications network services and solutions business, is already using Amdocs for its service management solution resulting in savings of approximately $40 million USD a year, and improving field force productivity by 10%. BT and Amdocs will also work together to establish a Centre of Excellence, which will provide expert resources to reduce project risk, maximize product benefits, and lower total cost of ownership.
