Scaleable Web Platform Accelerates Financial Transactions for Corporate and Banking Customers

Bottomline Technologies, a leading global technology provider of financial Business Process Management (fBPM) software and managed services, has been granted a patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office for technology embodied in WebSeries(R), the Companys core payments automation and information reporting platform. The WebSeries platform enables customers to streamline entire electronic payment processes, and provides secure distribution of banking information, such as global balance and transaction reports for cash management. The scaleable solution supports long-term strategic goals, and can interface seamlessly with back-office transaction processing and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for straight-through transaction processing. By providing users with a single point of access, WebSeries eliminates many of the technical complexities and frustrations associated with multiple system interfaces and passwords. Version 4 of WebSeries, which was delivered in December 2004, supports a wide range of modules designed to further extend functionality in support of specific business objectives. These include fraud detection, payee portal functionality, real-time gross settlement, ACH and global information reporting. WebSeries is used by leading corporations, banks and financial institutions such as Fiserv Investment Support Services, John Deere and Fifth Third Bancorp.
