Bottomline BACSTEL-IP Service Penetrates Market

Thursday 23 September 2004 13:13 CET | News

Bottomline has over 400 live clients using its BACSTEL-IP subscription service. Launched in April 2004, this service allows small to medium sized companies to purchase Bottomlines BACSTEL-IP software, WINBACS-IP, for a monthly fee.

Amicus, a United Kingdom trade union for manufacturing, technical and skilled workers, was amongst the first to migrate to BACSTEL-IP using Bottomlines new subscription service. Bottomline Technologies is working with the major banks in the UK and BACS to help migrate the 50,000 BACS users to the new BACSTEL-IP standard before the BACSTEL service is switched off at the end of 2005.
