In just over 2 months, the bank installed and implemented 9 ATMs which are located in the major urban centres including Gabarone, Francistown and Lobatse. BBS is using CR2s BankWorld ATM Controller, Client, Channel Manager and CardWorld Producer solutions allowing the bank to issue cards and manage its complete ATM network remotely. Botswana Building Society, formed in December 1976 and the largest property bank in Botswana, provides mortgage loans on residential properties, investment/development loans, commercial and industrial property loans. With the installation of the ATM channel, BBS expect to improve customer service and reduce branch costs through automated cash dispensing and account enquiries.
