Bell Canada Teams with Entrust Solutions for Managed Security Services in Canada

Entrust and Bell Canada will team to offer a comprehensive suite of secure identity and access management services that will enable Enterprise customers to reap the full benefits of an integrated, end-to-end security solution offering.

Under the strategic agreement between Bell Canada and Entrust signed in the first calendar quarter, Bell Canada is planning to commence offering a managed authentication/authorization service enabling solutions such as secure messaging, security for web portals, identity and access management and secure wireless services, based on and using Entrusts products licensed to Bell Canada. Entrust currently has more than 100 customers in Canada including the Government of Canada, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Royal Bank of Canada, Scotiabank and the Province of Ontario. Entrust identity and access management software solutions secure digital identities and employee, client or partner access to information. By securing digital identities and information, Entrust solutions make it possible for organizations to securely extend new online services and access to customers, partners and employees, while improving regulatory compliance and demands for stronger internal governance controls and information privacy.
