UK-based application software and services company Misys has formed a partnership with Dutch financial services provider Amsterdam Trade Bank (ATB) to provide the latter with its Misys BankFusion Equation core banking system.

Based on Misys BankFusion platform, the system is set to enable ATB to expand its banking services portfolio as well as modify current business processes to the bank’s requirements. BankFusion Equation is matched with SOA and Java technology being used by the retail banking sector. The application automatically generates the system’s Java code, reducing manual input and errors and accelerating modifications.

Misys BankFusion Equation was constructed as a BankFusion micro-flow and re-architected into an SOA environment using Misys’ BankFusion platform. It provides security and risk management capabilities as well as features that allow a business to be scaled when required.

In recent news, Misys has closed a contract with Lebanon-based financial institution First National Bank, enabling the latter to adopt the Misys Business Intelligence (MBI) service as its Management Information Systems (MIS) platform.
