American Airlines Federal Credit Union and eFunds Renew Partnership

American Airlines Federal Credit Union (AAFCU) has extended its relationship with eFunds. The agreement calls for eFunds to continue providing risk management services and third-party electronic payment processing for AAFCUs nationwide ATM locations.AAFCU has branches located across the country, including concentrations in Dallas-Ft. Worth, Chicago, New York, Miami, Tulsa and Los Angeles. According to a 2002 Credit Union National Association (CUNA) study, credit union membership in the U.S has been on the rise since the credit union concept first took hold in the early 1940s. The study also found that credit union members are typically more loyal than customers of traditional financial institutions. Today, credit unions in the U.S. have more than 80 million members combined.
