Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank Appoints New Director of Lending

Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank has appointed Bryce Glover as Director of Lending.

Mr Glover, 43, began his career with NatWest but has spent the last 13 years at the Co-operative Bank, where he was Director of Corporate & Business Banking and sat on the main board. His new role involves developing Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank?s asset finance, structured finance, commercial and other types of lending. Mr Glover also takes on the title of Managing Director of Alliance & Leicester Commercial Finance, the Manchester-based operation that changed its name from Sovereign Finance as part of a rebranding exercise in July 2003. Mr Glover, who has a law degree from Liverpool University, lives in the Bolton area with his wife Jill and their two children. He is vice-chairman of the Manchester Salford Housing Market Renewal Partnership and an associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
