Net loss for the quarter, in accordance with U.S. GAAP, was $5.6 million, or $0.14 per diluted share, compared to a net loss of $2.9 million, or $0.07 per diluted share in the third quarter of 2002. Included in our net loss is a charge of $855 thousand, representing 100 percent of U.S. GAAP losses incurred by ASPACE Solutions Limited, a company in which ActivCard acquired a 38% interest during the third quarter.
