BASE24-es(tm), ACIs multi-platform payments system, will authenticate and authorise IFX transactions originating from a Wincor ATM in the exhibition hall. ACI will be exhibiting in the area dedicated to channel integration at the event hosted by Wincor Nixdorf in Paderborn, Germany on the 25-27 January 2005. The demonstration will consist of a Wincor Nixdorf ProCash 1500 communicating with a live BASE24-es IFX device handler running on a Sun Solaris V250 platform. The Wincor World IFX demonstration will be a great opportunity to showcase the enormous benefits of IFX to financial institutions, said Rick DuVall, Senior Product Manager ATM Products, at ACI Worldwide. The industry-driven standard provides a solid foundation for banks and other providers to migrate to an open solution, reducing integration costs, increasing channel integration and providing the flexibility to enhance customer experience. We look forward to demonstrating our leading capabilities at the show. Rick is on the Board of Directors and Treasurer for the IFX Forum. The IFX Business Message Specification is a mature, well-designed XML-based, financial messaging protocol, built by financial industry and technology experts to address the challenges faced with the advent of network-based computing models.
