Monday 13 July 2009 00:47 CET | News

Global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company Accenture has launched a new version of its Alnova Financial Solutions core banking platform.

The new version aims to assist financial services providers in managing their changing product and pricing requirements and well as in integrating new products with their existing systems via a service-oriented architecture (SOA) and third-party business process management tools.

To assist banks in managing implementations and future upgrades, Accenture has expanded the use of common software components, as well as its ability to support Alnova deployments through its global delivery network. Other enhancements include a standardized delivery and implementation methodology, new software-testing and data-migration capabilities as well as an electronic repository of Alnova design data to help banks establish design requirements.

Alnova’s customer base in the core banking software marketplace includes around 100 clients in over 20 countries.
