ABN AMRO, Citigroup join shared ATM network

ABN AMRO and Citigroup are the latest to join a shared network of ATMs set up by three other foreign lenders - HSBC, Maybank and Standard Chartered Bank.

The expanded network, called atm5, would help foreign banks widen their deposit base. With two more foreign lenders joining the shared ATM network, customers will have access to over 115 ATMs at more than 78 locations islandwide. The services available intially at the ATM will be cash withdrawal and balance enquiry. A fee of 30 cents will be charged for each successful transaction.
