Bank of Moscow, a financial institution with more than 2 million individual and corporate customers, will install the units across Russia. The bank has more than 500 locations, including Moscow offices, regional branches and post-office-based counters. Bank of Moscows purchase includes two of Diebolds Opteva models - a lobby cash dispenser and a through-the-wall cash dispenser. The ATMs are powered by Agilis(R), Diebolds open, high- performance software, which is capable of interfacing with a variety of multiple-vendor products, reducing the need for back-end support. First introduced in 2003, Diebolds Opteva family of ATMs now includes seven different models. The first Opteva sale in Russia took place in April 2003. To date, more than 25,000 Opteva ATMs have been purchased by some of the worlds leading financial institutions. The Opteva family covers most every possible self-service application for the ATM, and was designed for high performance, maximum security, superior reliability and serviceability. Russias Laboratory of New Information Technologies (LANIT) acted as the distributor for the sale. A major Russian systems integrator, distributor and business partner of more than 40 of the largest global computer and IT companies, LANIT is a Russian third-party distributor for Diebold products and is Diebolds leading supplier in its EMEA region. Installation of the 200 Opteva units is underway and will be completed over the course of two years.
