VoPay partners with GiveWise

The merge of VoPay’s payment solutions with GiveWise’s intuitive platform allowed individual donations to increase by 48% year-over-year and grants to charities to increase by 44%. To enable this, GiveWise leveraged VoPay’s EFT payment rail and virtual wallet technology that allows simplified donor onboarding and efficient collection of donations, with charities receiving the funds within two business days. To further improve the process, VoPay integrated its eLinx solution that provides diverse payment methods and secure, instant fund disbursement. By working with VoPay, the charity software platform saw an increase in individual donations that aligned with donor preferences and simplified the donation process, as well as strong encryption and access controls that support financial data security. Also, there was a 28% increase in charities that leveraged the donation process on the GiveWise platform.

Moreover, Canadian charities saw a raise in grants, with an average of 173% increase in amounts given. By simplifying processes and enhancing financial transparency, charities also minimised administrative tasks, enabling them to focus on mission-driven work. According to GiveWise’s officials, their platform’s work with VoPay assists both GiveWise and the charities it supports, as the payment technology not only simplifies donation processes but also increases donor engagement. GiveWise underlined its commitment to fostering innovation to better serve the charitable sector and the collaboration with VoPay further advances and solidifies this mission.

VoPay’s offering is based on a multi-tenancy architecture, integrated with a payment engine and financial services solutions that support software enterprises in accelerating growth, expediting time to market, reducing operational costs, and enhancing efficiency within their core platform. In addition to its collaboration with GiveWise, the company also recently announced  the launch of VoPay Verify, an instant bank account verification solution via microtransactions in Canada and the US. The solution was intended to enable enterprises to authenticate and confirm any US or Canadian bank account, eliminating the protracted waiting times of up to 24 hours or more for micro-transactions to finalise.
