Visa has teamed up with payments provider Euronet Worldwide to boost payment services and support fintech growth in the Asia Pacific.

As digital payments in Asia Pacific are expected to reach USD 23 trillion by 2030, the partnership between Euronet and Visa is intended to strengthen the region’s digital payment space, according to The Verdict UK.

Euronet supports certain Visa-branded multi-country card issuer programmes in the Asia Pacific and has invested in various private clouds and infrastructure in the region to comply with processing and data centre regulations. Moreover, the company offers end-to-end programme and technical operations management capabilities for fintechs.

The partners will use Euronet’s Digital Integrated Payment Cloud (DIPC) and related APIs to help fintechs manage card issuing programmes. DIPC holds Visa Ready certification for more than 15 markets in the Asia Pacific, including Australia, Japan and New Zealand.

So far Visa and Euronet have worked together in the region for more than 10 years and have pre-connected touchpoints.
