Velo Labs and Inception work together for Southeast Asia remittances

Monday 1 November 2021 08:59 CET | News

The blockchain-based financial protocol company Velo Labs has joined forces with Inception, a cross-border remittance financial service company available in Southeast Asia.

With the use of Velo’s technology, Inception will move its remittance business from traditional systems to blockchain efficiency, in SEA countries like Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Earlier in 2021, Velo has welcomed two other companies in its ecosystem – Bitazza and TEMPO Payments – to strengthen its market position.

Through this partnership, Velo Labs aims to improve the global payment landscape and raise financial inclusion and mobility as Inception is switching to blockchain, on top of its digital currency corridors.

Inception.asia offers integrated e-wallet solutions and implements regional fund transfers in the Southeast Asia region, with a focus on small and medium-sized companies. Currently, it operates in Thailand, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Indonesia and plans to become operational in 10 countries by the end of 2021.
