Social Gold teams up with paysafecard, Cherry Credits and Ukash

Social Gold, a virtual goods monetization platform for online games and virtual worlds, has closed agreements with online payment services providers Cherry Credits, paysafecard and Ukash.

Under the terms of the deals, Social Gold will offer support for local currency and payment methods in Canada, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Via the Social Gold platform, customers will be able to buy virtual goods in 20 local currencies, including EUR, GBP, CAD, HKD and AUD. In addition, Social Gold will support Interac bank transfers. Customers will also be able to pay using credit and debit cards, mobile payments, cash and bank transfers.

The company has also revealed plans to support payments in Canada, Australia and some European regions for online communities Nexopia, Tetris Friends and Wonderhill. Social Gold will also expand its reach on other markets, including Southeast Asia and Latin America.

Cherry Credits is a Singapore-based company that provides a global micropayment solution, which allows customers to purchase game time and credits from different online game publishers through the use of a universal currency called Cherry Credits.
