Thursday 24 November 2011 15:14 CET | News

European online payments provider Skrill has entered an agreement with cross border shipping facilitator SkyShop Logistics Group to roll out an international shipping option, dubbed Skrill World Post. The new option allows non-US residents to make online purchases via US websites.

Customers who want to use this service will have to make online purchases by using their Moneybookers MasterCard at any US website and afterwards select their Skrill World Post US address and the goods will be shipped to their home country.

In addition, Skrill World Post provides delivery from websites which normally do not offer shipping outside the US.

The Skrill World Post has initially been offered to Skrill (Moneybookers) customers in the UK. The company has revealed plans to expand its service in Germany, France, Poland, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Argentina and Russia over the next few weeks.

Skrill has more than 19 million account holders globally and gives access to over 100 payment options in over 200 countries and territories, processing in over 41 different currencies.
