Financial services provider Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) has introduced a new online payment service which will enable its clients to accept 85 different online payment types from their customers globally.

Via SVBs Global Treasury Platform, companies which sell their products and services globally, are able to collect payments in foreign currencies and automatically deposit those funds into their SVB multi-currency or in-country accounts. SVBs card processing services are provided by internet-based payment services provider Merchant e-Solutions (MeS) Merchant e-Solutions and Adyen, the provider of global internet payment and e-commerce services.

SVB clients are now able to accept electronic payments in local payment methods, such as credit or debit cards, PayPal, iDEAL and Dankort, in countries across Europe, North America, South America and Asia.

SVB provides industry knowledge and connections, financing, treasury management, corporate investment and international banking services to its clients worldwide through 26 US offices and 7 international operations.

Adyen, the SVB’s international card processing partner, delivers global internet payment and e-commerce services for mid, large and enterprise e-commerce merchants. The “one-stop” service can be implemented within days and connects companies to global customers through a growing offering of payment methods.

Merchant e-Solutions provides services for e-commerce and card-not-present merchants. The company currently processes over USD 14 billion in payments for 65,000 merchants, supporting 150 global currencies and all major credit, debit and alternative payment services.
