Shopify partners Paymill

Tuesday 2 July 2013 11:25 CET | News

Canadian e-commerce platform Shopify and Paymill, a Germany-based payments service provider, have teamed up to provide their customers an online payment option.

Shopify allows entrepreneurs to open up their own online shop and distribute their products online. So far, more than 50.000 merchants have sold millions of products via Shopify. The cooperation with Paymill will boost the adoption of Shopify in the European market.

Paymill integrates with a merchants website and does not require a customer to be redirected to make a payment. The company currently operates in 37 countries across Europe and has a particular emphasis on online card payments.

In recent news, Paymill has entered the Romanian online payments market.
