US broadline retailer Sears Holdings has added online payment method eBillme to the list of payment methods it accepts on its website.

Under the terms of the deal between the parties, Sears Holdings customers can now pay for online purchases on the companys website without using a credit card. With eBillme, online shoppers are able to visualise their invoice and type in their names and email addresses. The online retailer then sends the bill directly to the customer via email. Shoppers then log into their own online banking platforms and pay the eBill like any other online bill. Throughout the purchase no private customer information is exposed online.

Sears Holdings has almost 3,900 full-line and specialty retail stores in the US and Canada. Sears Holdings is a home appliance retailer as well as a provider of lawn and garden, home electronics and automotive repair and maintenance services.
