Plimus adds PayPals Digital Goods payment service to e-commerce platform

Tuesday 2 November 2010 11:07 CET | News

US e-business services provider Plimus has signed an agreement with PayPal to implement the PayPal Digital Goods online checkout service into its e-commerce platform.

Based on the PayPal X platform, the PayPal Digital Goods application will allow consumers to make payments for digital goods and content in two clicks. The Plimus e-business platform enables companies worldwide to market, sell and distribute online digital goods and services. When making online purchases, customers were previously redirected to the PayPal site, where they signed in and authorized a payment. With the newly-integrated functionality, payments will be made directly on the merchant’s website.

The Plimus platform supports over 40 types of payment and manages transactions for more than more than 55,000 vendors and shoppers around the world. Recently, Plimus has partnered European online payment services provider Moneybookers to add the latters payment services to its e-business platform.
