Piano Media appoints Stuart Ashford as CTO

Piano Media, an European subscription-based content payment system for media publishers, has appointed Stuart Ashford as Chief Technical Officer, in order to integrate the new technology with their paid content payment system.

The complete integration of Piano Solo with Piano’s existing software framework will be Ashford’s first priority. Solo is Piano’s solution for individual publishers wishing to monetise their online content.

Ashford has worked in IT management since 1999 as owner and director of an ISP in Africa. Since then his work has taken him to the Netherlands where he worked as the IT manager for Laureate Online Education and afterwards to Hewlett Packard in Slovakia. He holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool.

Piano operates paid services including articles, video, audio, classifieds, mobile and many more. Piano provides its customers with technical solutions and an understanding of how online content can be monetized, marketed and upgraded.
