Mr. Allas is a former partner at McKinsey & Company and corporate strategy director at British Telecom. He has worked with institutional investors since the late 1980s and has extensive consulting experience with major international companies including print publishing, consumer internet services, software development and mobile platforms.
Additionally, Piano has named Rado Bato as Piano’s business development leader in Slovakia. Mr. Bato most recently served as spokesman for former Prime Minister Iveta Radicová.
With Allas’ appointment, Piano now has five members on its board. Current board members are: Marcel Vass, CEO of Etarget and co-founder of PianoMedia; Tomas Bella, Piano’s CEO and co-founder; Ivan Stefunko, an original investor from MONOGRAM Ventures and Jiri Benes, partner with 3TS Capital Partners.
In April 2012, Piano Media has secured EUR 2 million in Series B growth capital round from 3TS Capital Partners’ Technology in Central and Eastern Europe Fund S.C.A. SICAR.
